The Nintendo Wii offers an exciting way to play many of your favorite games. Face it; you love the tennis! But with Wii’s newest game to be released around September of this year, players will get a chance to participate in leisurely sports via the cutting-edge controllers. In Tournament Pool, players get to experience a lifelike game of 8 or 9-ball, snooker, and bar pool among other games, in single-player or multiplayer format. Like most Wii games to date, this is set to be the ultimate in 3D interactive simulation, and will be the first pool game of its kind.
Tournament Pool is said to bring incomparable realism to the home console, combing authentic graphics with convincing features like cue action, English, and even the pool halls you’ll be playing in. Developed and published by Destineer, Tournament Pool is already creating a buzz in the Wii world.

(Nasdaq: ATVI) has released new details on X-Men Origins: Wolverine, whose titular hero is one of the most popular Marvel characters of all time. The video game, scheduled for release in May 2009, coincides with the global debut of Twentieth Century Fox’s release of its feature film, X-MEN ORIGINS: WOLVERINE, which is also based on the famous Marvel character.
From the award-winning studio Raven Software, the video game enlists players to experience the tormented origins of Wolverine, from his escape of the Weapon X facility to the jungles of Africa and beyond. The game is currently in development for the Xbox 360 TM video game and entertainment system, PLAYSTATION ® 3 computer entertainment system, Windows ® PC, Wii TM home video game system, Nintendo DS TM , PlayStation ® 2 computer entertainment system and PSP ® (PlayStation ® Portable) system, and is not yet rated by the ESRB.
