This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Mario Party 8 Multiplayer Mode by Gonintendo
Mario Party was, and still can be a great series for Nintendo. Put some time and effort into the next version. I know you don’t work alone on these projects. It’s time to put your heads together with Hudson and reinvent the series. Give us some truly new games. Take advantage of the Wiimote and Nunchuck. Expand upon the board layouts and ideas. And finally, give us some damn online play! If there were ever a Nintendo title that screams for online play, Mario Party is it. I am not a huge online gamer, but if Mario Party 9 doesn’t have online play, I believe Nintendo has made a huge mistake. The franchise needs and deserves an overhaul. It’s time to breathe new life into a once innovative franchise.

This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Mercury Meltdown Revolution by Eurogamer
By the usual superficial standards, it’s hard to imagine Mercury selling consoles on its own, but the high standards of design - and in particular the game’s ability to appeal to players at both ends of the skill spectrum - are the sorts of characteristics that a system-seller should aspire to encompass. It’s a substantial undertaking, too, with breadth as well as depth, and with a control system that demonstrates the Wiimote’s capabilities more fully than its direct competitors. It’s hard to think of reasons not to recommend it. It might make you cross every now and then, but you never die unless it’s your own fault, and the level of respect it has for players is something that gamers of all tastes will be able to appreciate.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary - official Wii press release
Eidos Interactive Ltd., one of the world’s leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, can confirm that a Nintendo Wii version of Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary is already well into development.
“The Nintendo Wii is a hugely innovative games console and we wanted to make a special version of Anniversary to appeal to Wii owners,” said Kathryn Clements, Senior Brand Manager, Tomb Raider. ““The Wiimote & Nunchuck controller allows Wii gamers to control Lara in brand new, unique ways, and there are plenty of new features, to be revealed soon, which will ensure Anniversary really hits the spot - literally.”
Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary will be released on PlayStation 2 and PC Games For Windows on June 1st with a PSP version shortly after. An announcement on the release date for Tomb Raider: Anniversary on the Nintendo Wii to follow.

These are some new images of the Nintendo Wii game Soul Calibur Legends and some new info about the game
We know little of the story, though, other than understanding the characters come together to complete “a quest for ultimate power in order to save an empire from destruction.”
“Over the past ten years, since the release of the original Soul Blade, the team behind the Soulcalibur series has pushed the envelope of technology and innovation with each iteration,” said Makoto Iwai, exec. VP and COO of Namco Bandai America. “With Soulcalibur Legends, they saw the opportunity to once again create an immersive experience that is unique to the franchise.”
The control scheme’s being kept under wraps, but is said to incorporate both the Wiimote and nunchuck simultaneously. There should be something more than simply swinging the Wiimote around, just don’t expect the same depth as the fighting series. As more fighting experience is gathered, however, players can earn titles (i.e. Knight, Soldier) that unlock additional attacks.

This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Mario Strikers Charged by NGamer
Graphics:
The term gamecube+ suffices. The game looks as good as the Gamecube version, some extra graphic effects.Sound:
Monotonous, predictable, boring. We heared three different songs in the entire game, mediocre quality. Where are the Mario tunes?Gameplay:
Wiimote and nunchuck controls are OK, but so much more was possible? Waggling to do a sliding? Come on!Long term:
Single player is short, with just a few cups and a few challenges, the lone gamer isn’t in for a treat. Conclusion
Strikers charged doesn’t add anything to the previous part, nearly doesn’t use the capabilities of the Wii and doesn’t feel like a quality title. Will the online mode rescue it?
