This is the Developer Interview Video of the Nintendo Wii game Red Steel 2
More About: Nintendo Wii, Red Steel 2
In a recent interview with Suda 51, chairman of the Grasshopper development studio’s , taked about No More Heroes.
Available in recent weeks on Nintendo Wii, at least in Japan and the United States, it appears that this game was not meant for this console at the begining. Indeed, the president said he intends to develop the title on 360. But Yasuhiro Wada, president of Marvelous Interactive, it has strongly advised the Wii with its original and innovative gameplay:
“Initially, I wanted to develop this game for Xbox 360, actually. Wada-san had information on the Wii and on the functionality of the new controller before its release, which is why it thought that I should produce the game on this platform ”
Attracted by this grip intuitive, Suda 51 has therefore concentrated on the console on the market for Nintendo to develop their project.
An excerpt from a Game Informer interview with Eiji Aonuma:
GI: Have you been consulted at all for the usage of Link or Sheik or Ganondorf for Smash Bros. Brawl?Aonuma: I’ve been working with Sakurai for a very long time with this new Smash Bros., because the Wii came out and when discussion for a new Smash Bros. took place nobody could think of anyone other than Sakurai working on it. He was kind of the default, and I was very happy to hear that he would be working on it. Actually, my designers did work on the designs for Sheik and Link and Ganondorf. So they submitted the initial designs, and so it would fit in the Smash Bros. Brawl environment, they’ve had to tweak some of the designs. But Sakurai has brought those altered designs to NCL. We’re working very closely with the team of Smash Bros. Brawl to make sure the characters look their best.
An excerpt from a San Jose Mercury News interview with Jim Ward, President of LucasArts:
Q: Has the Wii changed the thinking in any way at LucasArts?A: No, it hasn’t changed thinking. I’m excited by it. The Wii came out of nowhere. And by the way, with all due respect to Nintendo, they’re not the greatest at third-party relationships because they’re kind of focused on their own games. So we didn’t really know a whole lot about this thing, and they weren’t out there trumpeting, “We’re going to broaden the industry.” They just kind of let it happen. But that direction and that effort - I’m on a mountaintop cheering that on. And so . . . for us, there was a bit of a wait-and-see in terms of “Well, what in the hell is this thing even?” and “Is it going to take off?” But the minute we understood what it was, we began development.

This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix by Gonintendo
Overall, The Order of The Phoenix is bloody brilliant, as Ron might say. Even after you’ve completed your main tasks, there are still plenty of mini-games and secret unlockable items located all over Hogwarts to keep you entertained. The more you discover around Hogwarts the more fun tidbits appear in a secret room located behind a rather cheeky portrait. These tidbits include cinematic clips detailing the making of the movie and interviews with the actors. You could spend hours in this room alone, mulling over an array of these deleted scene type features.
If it were up to me, Potter would pass his OWL examinations with flying colors. I give The Order of the Phoenix a respectable 7.5 for blissful wand waving and a breathtaking gaming backdrop. Now get to playing before I send you to a painful detention with that filthy git Umbridge!

10. Team Ninja’s Itagaki interview excerpt: “(Note: he wants to see Pikmin 3 on Wii…) I think it’s (Wii) a very interesting piece of hardware, and it’d be interesting for us to challenge that area as well. The Wii has kind of carved its own niche within the home console arena. It’s almost in an entire category by itself. I do think that it’s totally different from the DS, though…I think it would depend on how you make it (a hard-core action title on Wii). You would really have to design it for the strengths of the hardware. If you used the kind of control scheme that most developers are using right now for the Wii and tried to do a really hard-core action game, I think people would just throw up their hands and say “No, we can’t deal with that”. The Wii has its own reason for existence. If you don’t adapt what you’re doing to fit that, then there’s not much point in bringing an action game to the platform. (regarding possible Wii action game) I’m currently brain-training about that right now (laughs).”
11. Eiji Aonouma would love to make a “Wind Waker” for the Wii.
12. Geometry Wars: Galaxies - 50-level, new enemies, new multiplayer component, eight hours of gameplay

This is An excerpt from a Yahoo interview with Jessica Alba:
Y: Did you get a chance to play the games you were in?
JA: I have played both of those games, but I don’t last very long. I get frustrated. I just got the Wii and that’s fun. I play all of the Wii Sports games, like bowling, tennis, and baseball. That’s a lot of fun.
Y: You mentioned recently getting the Nintendo Wii — what do you like about it?
JA: I think the physicality of the Wii gets people off the couch. Sometimes you can just sit there playing a video game for hours and never move and you’re brain is just zapped from playing the game. With the Wii, you’re up on your feet and moving around. The physical aspect of it is great, especially for kids. They actually call it the Wii Diet, since active players can burn calories!
Jessica also shares some comments about the DS…
JA: I had my DS on the set of Fantastic Four and I bought it for my entire cast when we wrapped,” said Alba. “I guess I just felt bad because between takes they’d be chatting and we were in the Fantasticar and I’d always have my iPod and my DS with me. It was like fingernail-biting, gripping moments in the movie and then, “Cut!” I’d pick up my DS and try to beat my 82 age in Brain Age. I’d try to memorize all of those damn words.
