This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Driver: Parallel Lines by Cubed3
Final Score - 6
Driver has come a long way since its release on the PSOne in 1999, and whilst some of the game mechanics could certainly please a number of people – it is hard to forget that the Wii is just being used here as a port machine. If you’re looking for high octane racing thrills, you might want to check out some of the other games in the Wii’s growing library, and if you’re determined to have a go at some good ol’ Remote-ified Driver-ing anyway, this is probably only worth a rental.

This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Pirates Of The Caribbean: At World’s End by Cubed3
This certainly isn’t the worst game I’ve played, but there does seem to be an alarming trend for mediocrity, particularly graphically, on many Wii games so far. Graphical shortcomings can be forgiven if the rest of the game stands up – The Godfather, for example, is lacking in graphical grunt but generally quite fun to play – but in the case of Pirates of the Caribbean, the obscenely repetitive nature of the game and the lack of innovation other than the use of the Wii remote makes for a shockingly dull and underwhelming experience. The third Pirates film was at least exciting, if nothing else – the same sadly cannot be said for the game. Unless you’re an absolute devotee to the series, or you spend your weekends on a small sailboat dressed up like a pirate, it’s a bit of a struggle to recommend spending 40 pounds on a game that will mock you forever for spending that much money on it. One for the little ones, or those with Piratical leanings.

This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Mario Party 8 by Vooks
All in all, Hudson’s 8th iteration of the Mario Party series is a solid outing, there’s heaps to do, it’s amazing fun with your mates and it is a great ice breaker for anyone playing. Unfortunately, the game does suffer graphically but it’s nothing you’ve haven’t seen before on Nintendo’s newest system. For fans of the previous games, this may be a bit much of the same to you, but for people who haven’t really touched the franchise since it’s first foray onto the Gamecube (Mario Party 4 or 5), it could be the breathe of fresh air that the series was desperately needing. All in all Hudson have definitely done a good job in making the game fresh enough to utilise the WiiMote controls without making them stale and repetitive.

This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game The Grim Adventures Of Billy And Mandy by Cubed3
It’s a shame, but Grim is only likely to hold your attention for a couple of hours at most. It doesn’t have the diversity, length, or overall competency to make it worth buying unless you’re a massive fan of the series or very young and easily pleased. Steer clear of this one – it’s simply not worth buying.
