This is an excerpt from the Preview of the Nintendo Wii Game Disney’s Meet The Robinsons by 1up
Meet the Robinsons is very much an adventure game, and not a platformer, although the level constructions may look that way sometimes. Developer Avalanche really wanted to keep the emphasis away from timing jumps and on the fun of exploring the Robinson world. The controls clearly reflect this notion because jumping is automated and most interaction is done through a context sensitive button. One control feature that is specific to Wii is the ability to target enemies separately from what you are attacking. This is done by flicking the Nunchuck and pointing with the Wii Remote.
While most who consider themselves gamers will scoff and eagerly dismiss this game, Meet the Robinsons looks to be one of the better movie-to-game adaptations.

Lewis is a brilliant 12-year-old boy with a surprising number of clever inventions to his credit. His latest and most ambitious project is the Memory Scanner, which he hopes will retrieve early memories of his mother and maybe even reveal why she put him up for adoption. But before he can get his answer, his invention is stolen by the dastardly Bowler Hat Guy and his diabolical hat – and constant companion – Doris. Lewis has all but given up hope in his future when Wilbur Robinson, a boy from the future, whisks our bewildered hero away in a time machine into a great big beautiful tomorrow.
