In a recent interview with Krome Studios Co-Founder (Steve Stamatidiadis), by aussie-nintendo.com , they talked about the nintendo wii and future plans for the console.
They revealed that they Will develop a TY the Tasmanian Tiger game for the Nintendo Wii.
When will we see first games from Krome Studios for Nintendo DS and Wii?
Krome Studios is really excited about Nintendo’s new console Wii, and we love the DS as well. It’ll be at least a year before we come out with a game for either system as we’re pretty busy working on our current projects but that said we’ve had ongoing discussions and design meetings about future projects which definitely includes supporting the Nintendo hardware. For instance, we know that TY the Tasmanian Tiger has and will continue to be a perfect franchise for the Nintendo gamers so it’s safe to say that our furry little yellow friend is a great candidate for Nintendo’s DS and Wii consoles. Also, it will depend on what publishers want from us and what they think will appeal to the market.
Is there going to be a new TY the Tasmanian Tiger game from Krome Studios and will it be released on Nintendo DS and Wii?
Yes, there will be another TY game or two from us as we feel he’s definitely got staying power and a few more tricks up his sleeves for fans. At the moment though we’re taking a bit of a break from the TY universe (it’s been 5 years of TY game development for some of us.) I think the Wii is the perfect platform for a TY game and you can bet your booties that we’ll be doing one down the track.

“Rainbow Six Vegas has been announced and is currently being developed for the Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 platforms, and is not in development for any other consoles at this time.”
