According to French website LiveWii, Smash Brothers producer Masashiro Sakurai went on a Tokyo radio station’s “The Gaming Show” recently and talked about the title.
Ridley and Bowser Junior will also be added to the Super smash Bros Brawl roster
Ice Climbers and Mr. Game & Watch were confirmed to be removed.

Young Link will be replaced with a cel-shaded version.

I expected the cel-shaded link but not Ridely. Also, even though i did not play as ice climbers and Mr. Game & Watch, i still think they should remain in the game. C’mon at least ice climbers are the only 2 in one combo.

Even though the game has gone through some changes, i am still highly anticipating this game to be a success. I liked the idea of adding Ridley and cel-shaded link to this installment of the game.

super smash bros melee is a great game. i think they should add waluigi, sonic, pacman, bowser jr, goron from zelda and bomberman. They will be great characters.

Mr. Game&Watch was one of the best characters and the Ice Climbers, they are classics. I will like to see new characters like Hakkun, Gyromite, Takamaru, Bub, Bubble, Tamagon, Stanley, Ballon Fighter, Bomberman, Pit.

THE WIZ think they should keep Fox and Falco and Roy and Marth. It would be great for people who played with them on melee because they could have rival fights except they won’t have the same moves. Thats no fun.

It is sooo a great idea to put Lloyd and Kratos. Two of the best fighters THE WIZ can think of, father and son. Now what better combination is that. And plus with that, if they do put them two in the game it is impossible to make them have the same moves. Because, Kratos have one sword and Lloyd have two so you can really have a brawl with them if they put their cool moves on the game. It would be great to put a clash system on the game just to see the characters force and power behind their attacks. Everytime their swords or attacks clash its like a thunderous boom.

Uh….. I thimk that theyre gonna limit to characters that were originally video game characters and those that have appeared on a nintendo game at least once. I agree with Lloyd and Kratos. They also need megaman characters. Zero would be awesome!!! They also need more DK characters and maybe even a story mode!! More Fire Emblem characters with different moves. And the only character they should remove is Pichu for Raichu.

Basically I figured out the perfect selection of some characters. Since Snake has been added Nintendo can have one character from each company that they work with to represent them.
Continueing Nintendo Characters: Guy from Kung Fu, Toad ( I want to play Mario 2), Instead of Bowser JR. One of the Koopa Kids in Mario 3 with each costume as a different kid, Diddy Kong, Goron, Ash, Battletoads() Double Dragon Guy, Conker (Stupid XBox), Charmander, Bulbasar, Squirtle(replacing pichu, jigglypuff). Probobly more.
You can even have skins for similar characters, so you can make them look like each other like: Dark Samus (Samus), Waluigi (for luigi or wario), raichu(pikachu), Daisy (Peach), Dixie Kong (diddy kong), dr. mario (mario), etc. ( I also agree that you should be able to edit the characters costumes yourself and also make your own. I mean come on, you have been able to alter and make characters in games for pretty long. Get on the boat Nintendo. shit)

Soo, he is like Sonic, ( which would als be a good character to add, people;) AND I’m thinking of two good pairs, to replace the Ice Climbers being te only pair… Banjo-Kazooie is PERFECT! They are very well known as a pair, for Nintendo, why not put them in the game, just look up the moves they had in ‘Banjo-Kazooie’, and ‘ Banjo-Tooie’ and you have their moves! Also, the oter pqair, tha would work pretty well, (if it can be done…) is Sonic AND Shadow, as a tag team, hit a certain button, and you can change from good(Sonic) to Evil ( Shadow) it makes perfect sense, their acttacks could be the same, just Black for Shadow, and Blue for Sonic…soo people who like Sonic better could play as him, but if they prefer Shadow…then they hit lets say…Down+B( just an example) and VOILA you’re Shadow! One more thing that I had on my mind…GANON…I said it earlier, and I’ll say it again, now…but in a little detail:P…ok so, everyone knows that Zelda transforms into Sheik , with Dow+B, right? Right. I just found a site that says there is gonna be around 9 costumes for every character! Wow! that’s alot compared to the 4-6 in Melee and it’s not fake, either, it has pictures!

Sonic or Megaman will never be in a Super Smash Bros. game unless Sega/Capcom come to some sort of agreement with Nintendo. Here would be a great addition though.
1. Bomberman (Come on! he is the perfect Smash character.)
2. Little Mac (The Punch Out hero, they could fit him in there, they did Ice Climbers just perfect.)
3. Ash (Forget all the Pokemon, put Ash in there and he could have a variety of Pokemon attacks.)
4. Rash (Put a Battletoad in there, it was such a great game.)
5. Rayman (Lol, it would be good but too bad Rayman is not licensed to Nintendo.)
6. Viewtiful Joe (He has come so far on the Gamecube, he would be a great addition to the new game.)

I’ve got a really, really cool idea for a certain game, by the name of Super Smash Bros. Brawl! My cool idea is in fact a character suggestion! The character i am reffering to is none other than the fabulous PRINCESS DAISY!!! Yes we all know Princess Daisy, Princess of Sarasaland, tomboy, and not to mention Sports-Queen! Although little is know about Princess Daisy which is why that makes her an obscure character! But let me tell you that Sakurai said it himself that he is not just looking for popular Nintendo characters (that would be no fun) but little known, obscure characters such as Daisy! I know that if you put Daisy in SSBB, you would not regret it!! I also think that if you are going to put in Peach then goodness put in Daisy!! And do not give me the whole “Daisy is just a clone of Peach” because she is not!! I can prove it, Peach and Daisy have way different personality! I will tell you Daisy’s! Daisy has a rather chipper and cheerful personality in each of the games she has appeared in! She is none other than a tomboy, and considered less feminine than her counterpart Peach! She also has a huge competitive drive (which would help her in Brawl!) But she knows its all in good fun! All in all she can be summarized as an outgoing, friendly, funloving girl who can hang out with the guys, so to speak! See Daisy has a different personality!! Besides Nintendo said themselves that Daisy is stronger! So please Nintendo put in Princess Daisy! I even came up with her Smash move! You remember her Striker move in Mario Srikers? Well I figured that she can have one like that except without the soccerball! All her other special attacks can be based on her specials in previous sports games! (Except without the sports gear!) I was also thinking that she could wear her sports costume, but of course more detailed (just to show off her sports-Queen personality.) To sum it all up, Princess Daisy would make a great acsett to the more then awsome game Super Smash Bros. Brawl!!! PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, accept my idea of putting in Princess Daisy!!!!!

can you try to put zero in it from megaman x 8. since you got snake in it maybe you can add him in it to you. that would be an addition to super smash brothers

They should Include Cloud, Sephiroth, Sora, Riku, Strong Bad, yes Isaac and Felix, and me!!!! But no more pokemon characters. And they could include the fact it could be … dare I say it …… modded

Cloud and Sephiroth could appear on Wii, because a) they appear in Kingdom Hearts chain of Memories, Mario hoops 3-on-3, b) because Nintendo and Square Enix have signed a long term contract.

OK some people may not like my first suggestion, how about a Slime? Like the dragon warrior slimes.It can use moves from Rocket slime like the elasto blast.Next is boyd and soren from Fire Emblem:POR, boyd would be good cus they’ve never had someone with a weapon besides a sword or gun,(boyd has an axe).Soren be cause he can use magic, i know zelda can use magic but soren would be exclusively just magic.

i have a fighting game called onimusha blade warriors. it has megaman x and zero. the game is like supersmsh brothers but not as good. zero and megaman came out very good so they should be in supersmashbrothersbrawl.please add him

i think they should put diddy kong,captain olimar,lucario,king dedede,wolf,dark samus,sonic,and balloon fighter.

There should be more pokemons, like Charizard,Scyzor,Mew,Hitmonlee,Hitmonchan and of course Meouth should be in too (the RT Meouth, not any other)

pok`efreak hasn’t been here in a while but i have got a great suggestion! CCCCCHHHHAAARRRAAACCCHHHTTTEEERRR CCCRRREEEAAATTTIIIOOONNn(charachter creation)
it would be great all you’ll have to do is make a game set ( i suggest mario,pokemon,custom robo,cubivore charachter parts)
and diplay a graph of body parts similar to the game they chose and then a body stile (huminoid or creature) so they can put them together .the make it a certain type or 2 and show moves desined specificly for those type(s) (wich can be upgrade later) then finally for a profile. think of it this way u wouldn’t have to put ssssssooooo many many many charachters (give 10-20 slots for the created charachters) & you would give gamers what they want.

Alright, some of the choices people come up with for characters they’d like to see in future SSB games are…creative, to say something, but nonetheless a bit riddiculous. Though then again, not any more riddiculous than Solid Snake being playable…but nonetheless.

Nintendo’s own franchises have been pretty much milked dry in the first two installments. We don’t need to see any more Mario or Zelda characters being added (though you gotta admit it’s nice to FINALLY have Wario on the roster), nor do we need characters from games no one REMEMBERS (like IceClimbers -_-). And it’s not even like it should be HARD to hit the happy medium, here. There are plenty of third-party games with characters that would make welcome if not NECESSARY additions to a game like this.

Everyone seems to agree the Sonic characters should be included. I agree. Sonic and Knuckles would be perfect for a game like this, and unlike other ‘copy’ characters (IE Mario/Luigi, Fox/Falco, Pikachu/Pichu, IE, IDENTICAL MOVES) Sonic and Knuckles could operate SIMILARLY but have different abilities, much like they do in the Sonic games. I’m really hoping the Sonic rumor proves to be true when the game hits.

I’ve also heard a few people say Bomberman. All I can say to that is HELL @#$% YES. I mean, some people might think attacks based SOLELY on bombs would be boring and cheap, but think about it!! All the various bomb TYPES (REMOTE BOMBS ) with a few skillful combinations and techniques and Bomberman could become one of the best characters in the franchise.

And finally, someone I have wanted to see since the FIRST SSB…

MEGAMAN. Megaman should be a MUST HAVE in a Super Smash game. I mean, come on!! He was MADE for games like this!! How can you include PRINCESS PEACH and ICE CLIMBERS and overlook someone with such potential as MEGAMAN?! That’s careless oversight if you ask me, Nintendo.

Those are the main three I can think of. I’m sure there are a few more I could come up with, but overall I disagree with the choices most people seem to want to see in these games, like Final Fantasy characters or Pac-Man and the like. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love those games, but COME ON. Square Enix is NOT Nintendo, and I don’t think Cloud or Sephiroth have any place in a Nintendo-themed brawler. Maybe that’s just my opinion, but I’m a Nintendo fan at heart, always have been, always will be. And to me, seeing those characters (one reason I feel a lot of resentment towards Nintendo for including SOLID FRICKIN’ SNAKE) in a classic Nintendo title like this would break the game. It’s just not…RIGHT, you know?

I could see Mario getting blasted with a Kamehameha!!!! Hell, put Yugi-0h in it, dammit….

Roy and Marth were absolutely great characters but the characters seemed to be no that appealing to Nintendo, meaning they will most definitely appear in SSBB. These guys were japan only characters that some how snuck into melee. Becasue they were meant for Japanese video games, they probably won’t be seen again. The characters that would be a great addition to SSBB would be: Luigi, who is probably already a secret character in SSSB, toad seems possible, but the chances for him having a good range of attacks and abilities are slim to none, my last character would have to be someone who can be like a sort of counterpart to the 3rd party character Solid Snake. Someone who looks realistic enough sort of like a combination between Pit and Snake and the Samus suit mixed together. So basically it could be a character that Nintendo makes up.

Above i meant to say that Roy and Marth shouldn’t be in SSBB
Luigi, toad, and a counterpart to Solid snake should be added.
Someone that can match Snake.

Fox needs to stay, MIDNA, MIDNA, MIDNA, wolf link, and MINDA, also koopa, shy guy? (spartin) Conker the squirrel, Russel Crowe as Glatiator, Sock puppet of Ronald Regan, cardbord cut-out of Liam Neslon, and Jesus.

Also it would be cool if you could make more event matches, my favorite part of ssbm, and a flat map with vertical walls on the end so only vertical ko’s. And some sort of map editor would be cool too.

I really want super smash brothers brwal to come out soon, i can’t wait for online play and i can’t wait to be good with metaknight and Link and Pit because i used link on the last super smash brothers and he was great. NINTENDO PLZ PUT THESE CHARACTERS ON THE LIST!They are:Issac(golden sun),Zant and Ganondork for links nemesises,or at least one of them,i thoguht it would be good if the character pokemon could get a special attack thing like in the 1st trailer and evolve into their next form.Also id love to see cloud or tidus from final fantasy.Thank you for making this game it looks great
