Sadness

Sadness teamed up with Frontline Studios to aid them with programming. Frontline have a team of around 30 people and have experience with Nintendo platforms, Sadness will not appear sooner than the fourth quarter of 2007.
Sadness was inspired by games like: Eternal Darkness, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Planetscape: Torment, ICO and Phantasmagoria.

Sadness will not have any menus, the saving system will be invisible for players and Wiimote controller operations will be intuitive. “We aim at completely intuitive behaviour of the player ( just as in life. Every choice a player makes is essential ) if you experience traumatic events in your life, they are in you all the time. The same is going to be with Sadness. We want the player feel he participates in events, not only a game.”

They won’t have any zombies in this because all monsters are inspired of Polish horror old-tales. This is one of my most anticipated Wii games. The horror will be more like Silent Hill (the Resident Evil serie is more about gore and blodd) a psychological horror…
Remember the synopsis:
“…In my head there is a voice, different from the others. Whenever it answers it overwhelms the remaining voices, it mixes up thoughts and destroys peace. It tells me that I’m only mixed up in a thought which yearns to prove its own existence. It is the original voice, which wants to free itself from my head, to free itself from the logic and reason it is being stifled by. It is the voice of chaos which is now screaming frightfully in my head for me to take an axe resting against the wall and cut off my father’s head…”
