When you visit NIBRIS’s site and enter the Sadness profile it asks you if you are of the age 21 or older. There is speculation that the game could possibly recieve an “Adult Only” rating. Here is NIBRIS’s site:

the age rating of a game does not make the game good the whole lets report a age rating thing is so ps2 fanboy all the 12 year olds that play GTA get hard-ons at age ratings

I Agree, what in the world though, why is it going to be adult only, because it is horror? Man my ccousin is 10 yrs old and he watches Jason, Freddy, and Silent Hill, he also Plays Doom 3, why is this any different?

the age for Ao is only 18 not 21 so it could mean something else

Most flash web sites have age rating guys it’s not childish it’s covering your ass. Parents love to sue.

Good question!!!!

I really don’t think this means anything about what the game will be rated in the end. The website is foreign and their rules about this differ. Lots of sites here ask if you’re 18 or older before you enter. I do expect this title to carry a M rating if it ever comes out. It’s a long way from being complete, and Nibris is a small company.

I heard about this game a while ago when the wii was first called the revolution. At the time they only had a few decent concept pictures that looked like an o.k. game. Now it looks like it will be much more than i expected. Aside from the awsome trailer(ign.com) and screens, the story seems amazing and intresting, the envoiments look horrific(in a good scary way)and the fact that it may get an Mature or possibly A.O. rating based solely on horror, makes the game seem terrifying. It better make me shit myself. I can’t wait.

sadness might be A rated because of the violence actions with the wiimote same with manhunt 2 which is A rated and on the wii
