MTV Games officially announced the development of the Nintendo Wii game Rock Band 2, it will have new game modes like competition, solo, world tour, quick play, challenge, battle of bands, etc.. and new online modes. the rock band accesories will be compatible with this new version.

Too little too late I think. Guitar Hero: World Tour is gonna dominate by making all this available the first time around instead of shoving a PS2 port up our arses like Rock Band did with that crap. I have no love for RB2. Guitar Hero is my hero. And with Metallica coming out soon too, that’s my money spent and well spent too.
