This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition by Wired
Caught off-guard with the success of the Wii and looking for a quick fix, several publishers have tacked motion controls on to their existing games. It hasn’t turned out well. The difference with Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition is twofold: the game they started with is a masterpiece, and the Wiimote controls are implemented perfectly.

I love RE4!!!
got it and yes its great ever tho i played gamecube version 4 times
it makes res evil 5 on ps3 and x360 seem utterly pointless and outdated
cronicals followed by a res evil 5 port with polished controls no hd but graphicly it should match up
the so called POWER of ps3 please its all hype anything capcon do on there hd engine can be mimiced on a optermized res evil 4 engine - hd
res evil 5 with wimote come on capcon the other 2 systems are GAY
one of these days the other two consoles are going to come down in price and you’re going to find that a lot more people around you are going to start experimenting ith the new systems, and what do you know? they might actually like it! you on the other hand are going to be left behind in the gaming world because all you could do was rip on the other systems so you would have no idea how amazing they were. the only thing gay about the other two systems is their price range….
by the way, if you’re going to be a gay-ass fanboy to the bitter end: we get it! we don’t need to hear with EVERY post how you don’t like the systems, you’re like a fucking broken record!
having palyed on the other 2 systems i gotta say the WIi kicks ass, i mean graphics are better on the others, and for the price tag they should be, but the WII has got my gf playing games for the first time. The Wii is just so much more accessible and intuitive that the others and, as usual, nintendo have gone for a different tact than microsoft and sony - playability not graphics and power. mind you fall of man kicks arse, if only it ahd a wii-mote thingy or a mouse, how do ppl play with a crappy analogue joystick thingy for aiming? and yes I grew up on PC’s and nothing i’ve seen in the last decade has convinced me they’ll be surpassed as the true place for gaming innovation. well of tangent as per usual but peace and love homies
