im confused on what this is for…

Um no… Adding motion sensitive controls to an atari paddle and putting them on a current gen console will not work. This is stupid.

So it’s a joystick and a dail at the same time… weird! Why not just come up with cool attachment that you slide the wiimote into? Like say a real steering wheel with a gear box! That uses a sub woofer as the rumble device. Or a Real light gun made out of metal! Or even a higher spec wiimote that sends more signals petr sec to the wii for the FPS you know are going to come out.

Nitendo, I write to you today with concern as to the direction your company is taking with you lates innovation the Wii. Why, I ask in curiousity, would I the consumer purchase said “Pongle”, maybe to remember the good times, when Soda cost a nickel, Gas prices were low, and the only thing to do to pass the time was hit a pixel of some other pixels. Yes, I’m sure we all get it, you made video games a long time ago, now here is a suggestion, put your money into making a game that wont leave me saying, two minutes after purchasing it, “hmmm, now why did I pay three nintey nine for that agian,” and “Did I just pass out from boredom,” or “Hey how about I go buy a Xbox 360.” So Nitendo please reconsider the release of the “Pongle”, I assure you that indeed, no one cares.

It is nonsense…it breaks the whole concept of the Wii…
For example, you need both hands to control it, whereas with the Wiimote, you just need one and have the second free for the Nunchuk.
If someone is developing this, not Nintendo.

wtf is this ‘’pongle'’ i mean the nunchuk has an analog control stick and you can steer perfectly with the wiimote
so why develop a pongle??

It will show people they are thinking about ways to change the experience
