Kotaku talked to Nintendo’s spokeswoman Beth Llewelyn, about the Wii-motes and he commented that they will all be wireless, and they are planning to  make the wii controllers rechargables and they are hoping to figure out a way to make them rechargable. but he is sure they’ll work something out.

It would be SO much better if they were rechargable instead of having to buy new batteries every couple weeks.

yeah, i think that is the best thing they can do… a rechargable battery is the best option (of course at the begining this make it a little bit more expensive) for the wiimote, because in a long way it makes you save a lot of money!

I’m wondering what are their ideas for a charger… I would really like some kind of stand with 4 holes where we can put all our wiimotes to charge at the same time!

Great! Counting on how good the Wii looks, I would have to make serious investments in AA Batteries. I already have to for my wavebird and Game Boy Advance. A break would be nice.

I just hope you can charge it while you play. And that theres a way to tell when the batteries are dead.

Why not just include stands for each Wiimote to sit and plug into the peripheral slot and power up Lithium Ion batteries?
