Accordint to Kotaku, various Some small developers have been receiving mysterious Boxes containing complete Wii dev kits to create titles for the unique system.
This could prove essential to get as many developers and titles for the console with third-party games being a key factor for a successful sale

get in there nintendo bring forth the REVOLUTION
if this is true its a major step forward for nintendo. Come on!!!
I wasn’t sure too originally, but Nintendo knows exactly what they’re doing. I’m amazed at how smart they run their company.
They know that the key to success in the console development business is the game developers–big or small.
Just imagine, your a small time developer…and a package arrives full of developing goodness…and its from ninty
it’s good that N is doin this… they need 3rd party support for the console to succeed. I heard that they were only shipping dev kits to developers with publishers, but now I guess not…
now I’m lookin forward to lots and lots of games for Wii. GET DEVELOPIN, DEVS!
this has to be bull, why would they give it away and without notice. it makes no sense. top developers pay what around $2500 for a kit and noobs get them for free without even asking?
That’s stupid? Why they sell the developer kit? If small developers get it for free, what they win asking a few big developers for paying $1.700 for the developer kit?
