While the die-hard Metal Slug snob may decry the less than perfect controller choices, if you can get used to one of the available control schemes, you may find yourself liking the game. Even though SNK could have released each game on its own and charged us separately, they decided to give us the whole thing in one big collection and for that I can forgive them for giving us less than perfect control options.

isnt there like 15 control schemes? if so….i dont get it.

Yeah some thing like that but most people played this game on the pc with a keyborad… hint hint… So the wii controll and this game is sweet! Then you get all of them. If you can’t get the rom of it them at least go and rent it! This game is worth every penny. The animation and the boss battles are simply sweet! This game is what the new contras wanted to be. Really you just need two buttons really you jump and shot and dodge shells from tanks and air craft…LOL They give you some really weird but creative ways to controll the game. Really it’s an added thing for people who have completely mastered it ( like the time runners videos on the net right now).

I have one suggestion though don’t use the standard controll get a wave bird. Ok next problem please…..

this game is amazing if anyoned says other wise they should jump!
