EA has announced that Medal of Honor Vanguard, a new game in the long running Medal of Honor series, is coming to the Nintendo Wii in March 2007.

Medal of Honor Vanguard is coming to PlayStation 2 and Wii and is in development at EA Los Angeles.

“Medal of Honor Vanguard features a strong storyline told in classic MOH fashion,” explained Matt Sentell, Senior Producer at EALA. “We are really excited to offer this game both on the PS2 and Wii, which will allow fans to experience MOH in a completely new way.”

I agree , games for the Wii have to be designed from the ground up NOT ported from another system. As soon as I see that game is being released for the Wii AND another system I get disappointed. I hope we see less “ports” as we move forward but I have my doubts.

ports are what keeps everyone happy. people who are still sceptical about tyhe credibility of the wii games would appreciate the fact that it can stil get games that are available for other systems, even if the wii versions have been degraded so that people will buy the other systems for better game quality. has anyone seen the difference between call of duty 3 on all three systems? ps3 pwned, xbox 360 was great, yet wii just didn’t seem like one of the guys. They need to stop degrading the games that are ported to wii because they feel it lacks the potential. Wii does have the ability to have incredible graphics/gameplay that the other systems claim they offer.

the year 2048

OK MAN nintendo needs to get those shallow graphic games out the door. They really need to shut this sort of thing down by leading by example. Hey but you know what I will be renting every Wii game though just to see if they are even fun ya know… Yep that means far cry too… It may be ugly but jumping out of trees mangling people sounds fun. The reason why I say this is because I’m getting crysis for the PC (which crushes any thing the consoles can even think of doing right now) and far cry actualy looks fun. Like I said I’ll be renting most of these games. Infact you should do the same because if your an old gamer like me you will remember the days of the snes and nes… yeah some games may have look wack but were lots of fun to play.

Really though this is the first wave and it’s better to see games rather than the painful GC waits. The amount of games rolling on to the wii is coming in at a good clip. Face it the wii needs games good or bad( the same plan that the PS1,2, and maybe even three will use) Actualy you may see GC like releases on the PS3 now that I think about it.

Jeff hold your horses you too Wiiboy. If you go back and look at the PS2 there where no good games for almost 1 and a half years when it came out yet it still had more games out kiddy and crappy. There was the notion that every one was trying to make some thing for it remember( even if they where ports). Face it bubble boy is right the Wii needs games and games like dragon balls, zelda and others will stand up and truely represent the system. Let them waste money on ports. people will buy them even if you don’t like the idea behind them. Just look at the Ps1 and 2. Once the big games come to a system no one cares about the kiddy and crappy games do they?

Also too you guys forget the Wii is easy to program for yet to really get some power out of the thing they will have to work for about a year on these engines. In the mean time There is alot of fun in store and as the system count reaches 5 to 100 million then you’ll see the metal gears and other franchies run for the money. Who knows it may happen sooner than later. 07 is looking very strong line up wise. In the mean time I’ll be playing every thing on the wii that has some thing to offer.

Give the box time though, I think you’ll be suprised, pay close attention to the engines running mario galaxy and the SSB engine along with even the up coming pokemon game.

If you remember even the ps2 had lackluster graphics then came god of war and shadow of the collosus. So basicly chill ok if people buy these games then your boycott will just be noise on this post board.

Me I’m hyed about 07!

the zelda for wii was built on gc graphics and doesnt utilyize 50 percent of the machines power and is still the best looking wii game to date. online in fps titles is manditory and lazy ass developers like ubisoft r botching up my wii with there crap. 4 example farcry vengence =a 50 dollar frisbie, crapy graphs no online, no map editor, and to add insult to injury the game is rendered at under 30 frames per second. i for 1 will never buy anouther ubisoft game as long as i live unless they stop making crappy ports on my wii trying to rape the cash cow. if i worked for nintendo i would bann ubisoft from putting suck subpar crap on my machine. all developers need to actualy up the bar with each new game interation and take more pride in there games.i will never ever buy any fps with no online multiplayer period. get with the times u lazy bastards.
