GTA5 Wii to be Published by Rockstar Games?

SPOnG has heard a bizarre rumour of late that Rockstar may be looking to bring the next iteration of the Grand Theft Auto series – presumably entitled GTA 5 – to Nintendo’s family friendly Wii console.
SPOnG put it to a Rockstar rep the other day that we’d heard GTA 5 might be Wii-bound and they responded with what we can only describe as a stifled giggle. Read into that what you will.

GTA5? what happened to GTA4?

Its only a rumor for now, but maybe GTA 5 will be a Wii game while 4 is a PS3/360 game.

“rumor” The Wii is so far advanced in controls that Rockstar is completely skipping GTA4 and going straight to GTA5 for the Wii! Rumors are seldom true.

Hell GTA is a free roaming game with mini games in it. It was made for the wii. Also too the cell shaded art that they may go for in the next batch of GTAs (it currently only seen in packaging art only) is well suited for the wii since it’s cell shaded art. I mean come on man hunt is coming out on it and GTA has never been a system taxing game now….

I really dont think rockstar would do an exclusive gta game for wii it would be awseome but that would never happen

I don`t think and pritty know for sure rockstar won`t make a game for the wii. As specially not a GTA game.

Erm… Rockstar ARE bringing out a Wii game…

I think that rocketstar may make a gta 5 game for the wii but i think that its really hard to use the wiimote and nunchuk for so many things so i think it should be for a classic controler

that wold be cool but its just a rumor so don’t get your hopes up
