Ghost Squad announced for Wii:
“Ghost Squad brings the classic light gun blaster experience that SEGA made popular in the arcades to the Wii,” said Scott A. Steinberg, vice president of marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. “With a more robust multiplayer experience than even the arcade version and numerous unlockable items and stages adding replay value, Ghost Squad will be the ultimate shooter experience for the Nintendo Wii console.”
In Ghost Squad, the world is at war with terrorists, which have threatened all corners of the globe. In a last ditch effort to fight off the evil forces, the U.N. erects the Global Humanitarian-Operation and Special Tactics Squad, or Ghost Squad. This elite group features the best of the best in military operations.
Players will make their way through three different missions divided into multiple sub-levels — many of which unfold through multiple selectable pathways. Gamers will utilize 25 unique weapons to shoot and stab enemies. 25 different weapons. Blow away environments. The title will feature a multiplayer mode compatible for up to four players.
