Random News reported the possibility of a Final Fantasy game for the Nintendo Wii

Recently Square-Enix has announced the latest installment of Dragon Quest on the DS and it seems like they are giving Nintendo a tremendous amount of support contrary to last gen. But there is even a bigger game that Square will be releasing on Nintendo’s home console the Wii, Final Fantasy. From a Square rep. we have recieved a tip that a Final Fantasy is being developed as I type this out. It won’t be a sequal to the latest FF’s but rather it will be similar to the DS’s FF3 and can be said to be a port/remake. This is great news to all Wii owners!

There was a rumor a while back of a remake of FFVII for DS. I really don’t see this happening though. Probably the rep was just talking about Crystal Chronicles. However, with DS doing so well, and Wii’s current popularity, Square/Enix have been increasingly supporting Nintendo products. FFVII was awesome, but I would like to see a full-blown remake of FFVI. FFVI was the best FF ever made, no it didn’t have the 3d graphics, but it was the best of 16bit RPGS and the best story line in my book. Of course Cloud was still the coolest hero. Either would make my day!

Bring back the steam tech damn it! I havn’t played all the way thur a FF since the snes days… Bring back the steam tech and get rid of the metrosexuals!…LOL

S-enix should blanket all systems and stagger squels on each console. There is so much the wii mote can bring to the FF world though.

I say bring it on! S-enix are such attention and graphic whores… having them on the Wii could kick developers like ubi in the butt and make them work harders to look good.

Yeah, well here’s the thing. What if the FF is just a wiimake of the original crystal chronicles and not a sequel, separate game or new title at all..

Since Square owns Enix/Tatio and so forth they should release every single game ever made by those company’s via Virtual Console i.e. Lufia/Secret of Evermore/Dragon Warrior.(that was a no brainer). And on the subject of remakes, we need a remake of Crono Cross, the game was an eye sore and too slow on PS, but is still a good game. Also, I would personally love a spin-off of FF4 possibly in the likes of Kain or Edge being the center of attention of the game. One last thing. I wonder if the DS is acually capible of running a maybe slightly stripped down version of FF7-FF9 those would be 5+ million sellers world wide.

They really are going to make final fantasy 7 for PS3 or wii because I was at the convention center in NY around October. A month before the release of Nintendo Wii and PS3. I’m so obsessed with games and my cousin to. I’am more obsessed with games than anyone in the world, thats why in the future, im going to be the one that is going to start creating games. Better one that you will hope and I mean better ones. I have alot of Ideas that gamers didn’t see yet. I can’t tell you, but in time you will know. I’m creating a game right now. These games are nothing like I’m creating. If you have any questions then email me. I have alot of ideas because I played almost every rpg in the world and I know which RPG is good and which is not. The good thing is Im working on it now. I’m in college and soon you guys will find out. I’m a game fanatic then anyone in the world, trust me I’am because I play games about 10 hours a day or more. every single day I do and I still do good college. That’s all!

Saleh Mahmoud lmao, playing 10 hours a day, then 1 hour a week at special kids college isnt going to make you a games developer… and saying you have played almost every rpg is absured, there are about 52822 rpg games registered, and say you speant your entire “10″ hours gaming a day playing a new game each day, it would take you 144 days to play them all, and considering your about 16 i wouldnt say thats “almost every” rpg. more like, the average amount if not less than other people, i was playing rpgs before you were even born, try go and playing gates of delirium or ultima without crying cause its an eye sore of the so called “todays standards”
p.s. “rock paper scissors the rpg” isnt going to work, you have so far failed at your life
