We have seen in different videos two kinds of wiimotes, some wireless and some wired, well the wired wiimotes were connected to the nintendo wii console, the image shows a wiimote without the batteries

The dimensions of the PlayStation 3 are about 13.5″ x 3.25″, but the Wii dimensions are way smaller.
As you can see the PlayStation 3 is pretty much double the height of the Wii

GameInformer recently interviewed everyone’s favourite Nintendo employee Reggie Fils-Aime and asked him the burning question of the moment. What is under the little flap at the front of he Wii?
What is the little door on the front of the unit?
Fils-Aime: That is where an SD card goes. That’s storable media. And on top, are the attachments for the GameCube controllers.
So will SD cards be the primary storage medium?
Fils-Aime: It will be one of the memory mediums, and it’s the only one that we’ve announced.

The man behind the quirky Nintendo DS ‘game’ Electroplankton, Toshio Iwai, has recently spoken to Nintendo of Europe in a brief interview.
Discussing the possibility of Iwai developing another game for a Nintendo console, possibly Wii, the Japanese artist said, “I am thinking of it.”
