This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Snowboard Riot by Hooked Gamers
Snowboard Riot isn’t fun and it’s a complete waste of ten dollars. With games such as Mega Man 9, Maboshi’s Arcade, and the Art Style being available for the same or lower price, it isn’t difficult to see that the game is way too expensive. Hopefully Hudson will continue making higher-quality games on WiiWare and not experiment with anything like this again unless they absolutely know what they are doing

This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Dokapon Kingdom
I’m not going to lie; Dokapon Kingdom isn’t perfect, nor does it even come close. The graphics and audio are lacking in areas, and interface is just barely above par. Brown boxes are married to simple text in terms of presentation and the textures to rather blocky figures. All criticism aside, Dokapon Kingdom is still enjoyable. How, you ask? The customization aspect of the game separates it from other generic party games.
So there you have it, a run-down of the surprising Dokapon Kingdom. What many expected to be a rip-off of the Mario Party franchise actually turned out to be a very fresh and strategic party game. It is a shame that the game will likely be met with poor sales. But at the end of the day, the game will always remain one of the best role-playing games on Wii. For those anxiously awaiting epic entries in blockbuster franchises, Dokapon Kingdom may just be able to satisfy your appetite, because as of now, there doesn’t seem to be anything huge coming state-side within the next year.

This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Boom Blox
All in all, Boom Blox is a great puzzle game and a must-have title for the casual crowd. Literally anyone can get into the game in a matter of seconds and the extremely addictive multi player mode ensures no one will want to leave for a long time. It’s one of the Wii’s most accessible and addictive offerings, and if you’re in the market for a good party game Boom Blox is the one to pick up.

This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Winter Sports: The Ultimate Challenge 2008
In a sea of Wii shovelware, Wii Winter Sports isn’t the worst choice you could make. Conspiracy apparently picked this one up for cheap, but for fans of downhill skiing and a handful of other Olympic events, “The Ultimate Challenge 2008” will satisfy for at least long enough to warrant a rental. The control works for the most part (aside from a pretty unsatisfying curling experience), but it’s never more than a quick arcade-inspired mini-game the likes of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games. The graphics aren’t nearly as polished as official screens would have you believe, and the game – while better than every other Conspiracy effort thus far – grows dull fast. Unless you can find this one extremely cheap, skip it.

This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Battalion Wars 2 by Next-Gen
Achieving almost any objective is a case of moving your army along a linear route and clicking on enemy units as they approach, whereupon they’ll be smashed and you can continue your relentless forward march. Objectives, such as capturing an enemy base, are even easier to accomplish through simply pointing your army in the right direction and setting some grunts to work. In short, BW2 is a game that will be played on autopilot. It offers an improved challenge in the later stages, but only perhaps the final three, by which time 90 percent of the game is complete.
Ultimately, BW2 is a strategy game that doesn’t demand much strategy. That doesn’t mean it’s not sometimes enjoyable, but it’s nothing more than an occasional diversion – and in the final analysis rather limited.

This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Trauma Center: New Blood by Gamers Info
.. I’d highly recommend Trauma Center: New Blood since the gameplay isn’t very complicated but it is challenging to master. These surgeries can get really hard, but you won’t find your arm excessively tired. You might cramp up a little bit if you’re really tense. There is an addictive quality to this game, and there haven’t been too many Wii games that I’ve really been drawn to and can’t stop playing. It’s definitely worth playing with a friend. If you’re anything like me, attempting it solo will probably make you frustrated and you’ll want to move onto something else. …

This is an excerpt from the Review of the Nintendo Wii game Dancing with the Stars by Gamers Info
.. My first go at Dancing with the Stars has been kind of fun but also rather frustrating. I started with Emmitt and Cheryl and am dancing as Cheryl. It’s taken me several tries to get those magic 20 points on my first dance (at Amateur level) and a few more tries to get through my second dance. I’ve tried the third dance a few times, and it’s gotten quite a bit more demanding with having each hand do a different move at the same time, and I’m tired at this point. I’m 45 minutes into my gaming session, and I want to take a break. I can’t find any way to save my game. I started in single-player mode, and I know from reading up that you have to succeed in four dances with each couple to unlock more content. I have to wonder if you also have to succeed at all four of those dances to earn the right to save your game. If I can’t improve my hand/eye coordination, I may never find out …
