This is the Trailer of the New Nintendo Wii game Super Swing Golf Pangya

The Wiire Recently has an interview with Ryan Arbogast (Tecmo’s Product Specialist) to talk about the Wii title, Super Swing Golf Pangya. This are some important points of the interview
“It will be a multiplayer game, but not online. Within the game, there is a story mode that’s new to the console title. Through the mode, you can pick up unlockables, different characters, costumes and there’s a storyline behind it, so depending on how you play in the tournaments, your story will be different. There’s also for multiplayer, stroke play, match play and a special mode where you hit the ball and try to fly it through hoops.”
“I think people will stand up and play it. You could sit down and play, but it’s like Guitar Hero. It feels more comfortable and you feel like a part of the game when you’re standing up and interacting with it. So I think with the Wii title, you could do it sitting down, but if you want to experience the golf for what it is, stand up, grip the controller and have fun.”
“launch we’re looking at early 2007, we might be able to get it into Christmas 2006, hopefully for the Wii launch in general. So we’re keeping our fingers crossed, but they don’t want to sacrifice quality on this title, so if the game isn’t ready, they’re not going to launch it. So that’s why we’re not giving it a launch game projection, and saying Q1 [2007].”

Konami Elebits for Nintendo Wii

The game’s creators stated that they’re aiming to combine a completely interactive world with a hide-and-seek feeling, and that translates into a first-person title where you get to use the Wii controller to open doors, throw refrigerators, toss trees, empty out drawers, and basically pick up and manipulate anything you see in the name of finding cute, little creatures called Elebits.
It sounds simple, and it is, but trying to rack up a high score within the E3 demo’s three-minute time limit proved quite addictive.
In the final version, the game should have numerous types of mission objectives, not just races against time.

In a interview for CVG Hideo Kojima told that he would like to run away from Metal Gear Solid 4 creation and create something for the Wii.
this is the part of the of teh interview:
CVG: What are your impressions of Nintendo Wii and how did Snake appear in Smash Brothers?
Kojima: I’ve played Tennis, Zelda and Mario on Wii. I find Tennis very interesting. I played the early version but the E3 version is far more advanced. As a game designer, I’m very interested in creating something for the Wii. I’d like to run away from MGS 4 creation and create something for the Wii but unfortunately, I don’t have anything that I can announce at the moment. I have lots of ideas for Wii but I have a heavy schedule with MGS 4 and Metal Gear Online. Concerning Snake’s appearance on Wii in Smash Brothers, I’m friends with the designer of the game and I thought it would be nice if you could play as Snake - when I heard about the new game last year, I contacted the designer and we started working together.
